Hi everyone. My name is Suzanne and my husband is Nik. We just bought a 2002 Mini Cooper S and we adore it. Nik just got a custom plate "Rasputin". His family is Russian and he thought it seemed appropriate since the car has cast such a spell on him. His other car is a 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution that he has turned into a 525 hp gas sucking monster. Since that car is always in the shop getting something done to make it faster, he needed a daily driver and the Mini, with it's great gas milage and "go cart on steroids" handling, was a perfect fit.
We've been driving it everywhere around Hampton Roads over the past month. Can't wait to start attending some Mini functions and getting to know you all. We already booked a room at Fontana for the 2009 Minis on the Dragon. Hopefully, he'll let me have a turn on the twisties.

Welcome Suzanne and Nik. You've found a nice little gang of Mini loving individuals who will be more than happy to help you along your Mini way.  Surely try to make an ice cream or other gathering. It's great to get to know others who share Mini  love. This gang will also try to get Nik modding the Mini as well as the Evo.  |

Welcome Suzanne and Nik. I saw your MINI the other day at Lohmans Plaza. You parked right next to me. I have the HB/HB with Yeah BB on the plates.
Nice looking red/white MINI. And I love the plates. Do you guys work around there somewhere?

We were at Golf Galaxy. Loved your mini. Saw the stickers of the Dragon on your car and got all excited about our trip next year. Although your exhaust made the husband drool. He's up in the air on getting a Borla or an Alta. Your Borla looked really good!
