Hampton man tells OPEC to kiss his *&%!

Gary Cooper of Hampton is pleased with the response he's getting from his new license plate. (Joe Fudge, Daily Press / June 27, 2008)

I love the KMA OPEC tags!!! 023

I'll bet with the news coverage and given a little time DMV will pull his tag. icon_cry  I sure hope not.  Someone at DMV just didn't get it when they processed it, the computer didn't pick up on it, or someone let it though pulling for him to be able to have it for awhile because they agreed with him.

Here's to keeping it active for a long time!!! 023 023 023

Oh, paid $4.08 for premium at the BP on Princess Anne Road yesterday.

Paid $59.00 for 14.32 gallons today at BP in Princess Anne/Baxter Rd (6th fill-up after delivery).
Priced at $4.11 per gallon premium.
My actual range prior to fill-up is 430 mls. I had 20 miles left per OBC.

What i don't understand is the range the OBC is giving me. The predicted range is 385 mls after this fill-up, but compared to last time I filled up the predicted range was 500 mls. It was about the same capacity (14.01 gallons for $59.40 at $4.23/g at Exxon). So maybe it was 50 miles off per OBC but thats better than now. Hmmm .. Maybe I should just stick to Exxon. Or maybe it's that BP gas station.

045 Oh yeah .. That would be cool/awesome to have access to jet fuel! 045

Paid $4.09/gallon for premium at Royal Farms, Rt. 17 north of I-64 in York County, on 7/5.  Put in $49.00 worth.  I usually fill up right around 1/4 tank.

Royal Farms in Smithfield was $4.09 on Saturday too.  They seem to be holding steady, that's nice!  038

The HESS on Princess Anne near S Plaza this morning was $3.94.  I didn't have time to stop but I'll def check it out on my way home.   I think the regular grade was $3.75.

The OBD is never right.. not even close... except the miles to empty.  That gauge works perfectly for me!  The mileage calculations are crap though... It's always better to just do the math yourself.

Not to be contradictory but mine works fine.  I did a couple test tanks and it was only off by a fraction.  Which is odd seems though I have changed the exhaust, intake, wheel size and tires.   102  Granted Chester gets 99% highway miles now.  Maybe that has something to do with it. 017

LOW GAS PRICE ALERT IN VA BEACH AREA!!!!! 023

Hubby just called to let me know that premium is $3.37 a gallon at the Exxon on the corner of Rosemont Road and Virginia Beach Blvd.  He only waited behind two other cars to fill up our company van.  He says there's only 2 or 3 cars in each line waiting.  This was about 1:30 this afternoon.

Good Luck!!! 023
