Outstanding list Nathan, your MINI will be a fine ride!!   023

Can we touch it when it comes in or will there be a velvet rope and a bouncer protecting it?

If it were mine..... I'd go for the bouncer!!

Actually I was going to be a little sneaky and use the velvet rope, but it will be velvet with a electric shock underneath, so don't touch or you'll get a mean shock!

Sounds like a nice set up!!! 023

Can't wait to see 103 it.  I've joked with the Hubby about wanting one.  I think he knows it's a little more than a joke. 112

I'm sure you'll be happy with it.  I've read many positive articles about the JWC this time around.

Nathan, first and foremost, congratulations. To be the first with anything MINI related is a milestone.

To be a first JCW new model owner, well, that goes without saying.....

I would like to do, what we call in the auto refinishing buisness, a "Paint adhesion test" ASAP....

It's really quite simple, you just give me the keys, I take it out on I64 when theres no traffic, and drive it as fast as humanly possible. If no paint blows off, your car will have passed "the Paint Adhesion Test", simple enough huh?  023 023 023

I humbly volunteer to verify the as co-pilot...  Eerrr...  I mean, backup tester.  Yeah, that's the ticket.  Backup tester.  108

Seriously though, congrats Nathan!   icon_mrgreen

If your new JCW passes John's paint adhesion test the next thing that needs to be done is a complete systems check under extreme conditions. I will gladly conduct this check at VIR free of charge just to make sure you have received a quality product.

Just to make sure it turns left good, I'd be glad to take out to Langley Speedway one Wednesday night and run it in the one on one drags. Then again, Tyler may do better, he was third two weeks ago. You're on your own to see if it'll turn right!

You're gonna love that JCW MCS.  I got to drive the demo one at CF last December, and I was very jealous.  The turbo pulls harder and quicker than my supercharger.  Hmm...  I need to order some parts.   080

I wanted to say that I appreciate the offers to make sure that my new MINI is in prefect running conidition. I will have to say that I am unsure as to some of your intentions, but we can discuss them on a one on one basis!!!   018

So, lets see, if everyone has some time maybe July 5th depending on when it arrives, we can all get together for ice cream.  It would have to be after 7:00PM though, cause I have to work until at least then!

Think Susan would let you off to come out to MCASS2, to show off and run your new hot rod?!!
