Hehee  I like that! "Dump 1/3 of the oil reserve on the market and punish the oil speculators around the world!"

I just can't help wondering why it is that guys like this always seem to wait till there out of office to start speaking sense.
Perhaps it's time to look a little harder at this subject and get America off its 232 year old behinds!!!

I know that feeling....I just wish those so called people in Washington would start thinking and doing something about it....But I guess when the tax payers are paying for your gasoline you don't have to think like that.... 100

I have a solution to saving ourselves, as Virginia Beach tax payers, gas dollars right here in our own city!!!   045

Keep the fire trucks from Station #11 and Station #14 from cruising the beach stripe!!! 076

We were down there Friday afternoon, Station #11 was also.  Yes 076 they were cruising 044 the stripe right along with everyone else. 093

Friday night, same story with Station #11 again.  076

Saturday, son's birthday celebration and we were there all day.  So was Station #11 fire truck. 076  All dang gone day off and on. 076  Only two of the firemen in the truck.  Yes, it was the huge one.  So if they get a call they surely have to take extra time to get out of the crowd at our beach area.  Do they also have to swing by the station and pickup the rest of their crew?  This is a huge safety risk on so many levels that the city is just letting happen. 076

The Hubby is down there now and called to tell me that Station #14 is showing itself today.  093

Didn't the city just crack down on this with city vehicles just this week?  It was all over all three local news channels.  What the heck am I missing here?  102

This crap went on all last summer with these two stations.  Not again this summer with gas prices the way they are. 079
I seem to be the only concerned citizen about this issue.

Yes, I do realize these guys and gals have very dangerous jobs, but that is no excuse.  They are being paid to do a job for the city, not cruise the beach stripe.  I don't even want to hear that they are building tourist relations either. 075
