Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to introduce my self. My wife and I just bought our first Mini Cooper (brand newish-2003). We really love this little car. I just stepped out of my 98 Mustang Cobra for the Cooper and must say the Cooper does a great job at filling those shoes.
We look forward to meeting some of you guys and I will be at the GWR event on the 26th. Hopefully I will have a chance to meet some HRMini members.

Welcome to the club!  Glad you made the cross over to a MINI.  If you ever miss your Mustang you can come visit our 427R Roush. Since I converted Neal over to a MINI it has become a very expensive lawn gnome.  |

Thanks for the warm welcome. What a great group!
I look forward to my first AutoX with the mini. I haven't autoX in years. I used to be part of the ODU Formula SAE team and frequently went to Pungo for testing.
I'm sure the Mini will run circles around the old cobra. It was a pig even with all the suspension work I had done.

I'm sure it will! Everyone at autocross always asks Neal how he could go from a Roush to a MINI and he always tells them "I get faster times in the MINI!" So you'll definately have to come out and autox with us! We have a blast. |
