We have another private party scheduled.  If you haven't tried this you really need to come out and join us.  It is an absolute blast & the food is amazing!

August 20, 2008 @ 6pm

Sociale Gourmet
836 Eden Way, Suite 144
Crossways Center
Chesapeake , VA 23320

We’re having a party at Sociale Gourmet in Chesapeake and you’re invited.   If you’re not familiar with Sociale, it is a new upscale make and take business in Greenbrier.  This is where you assemble meals to bring home to stock your refrigerator or freezer.  They are great to have available for those times when you’re running behind or late getting home from work.   You just have to pop it in the oven or put in on the stove top because Sociale does all the shopping, prepping and cleaning for you.  It’s that simple!

You can prepare anywhere between 5 and 12 entrées for your families to enjoy in only an hour.  They will even have food samples for us to munch on.  Wine is available for us to purchase to make it an evening to remember.  Side dishes, desserts and bread are also available in their Express Freezer.   There is a gourmet retail shop with some great gift ideas, kitchen gadgets, salsas, mixes…etc.   Just for attending, you’re eligible for 10% off anything in the retail shop to use that day or for up to 10 days after.

To register for our private party, please go to:  http://www.socialegourmet.com/.   You will need to register to pre-select your entrée’s at least 7 days prior to the event.   This will assure us that they will have everything ordered, stocked and ready for us.

To register:
•   Go to the Website >www.socialegourmet.com
•   Go to “Place an order”
•   Select “Chesapeake” as the kitchen
•   Select the number of entrees
•   Create an account if it’s your first time.
•   Select  HR Club MINI  on August 20th on the calendar
•   Enter Angela as the hostess name and  MINI  as the password
•   Select  your entrees,  side dishes  and desserts
•   Enter Payment Information
As soon as you have registered, you will receive an email confirmation.  Please also let me know if you are planning on joining the party.

Thanks!

Hey all; don't forget as well-the August menu is available and sometimes not easy to find. The menu is linked to the "aug" link and the link is WHITE...sometimes hard to see on the puter....  icon_razz

We did the Chicken Highbrow on Sunday and it was really good. But someone didn't like the asparagus. Do you think that maybe they would offer a subsistute for the asparagus? Green beans maybe?

I think it will be pizza rollups tomorrow. I am on my own tonight.

So I went to pull out the Summer Sandwich pack for tonight's dinner, and it wasn't there! I think we either left it behind or someone unknowingly put it in their cooler by accident. Did anyone find an extra Summer Sandwich pack? Who was the last one out? Was anything left behind that you know of? I'm going to call later today and see if they found it.

We had the Chicken Scaloppini the other night.  Not too impressed.  The chicken part was great but had I known better I would have thrown an extra ladle of the lemon sauce in the bag.  The pasta soaked up all the sauce immediately and it ended up pretty dry.

We'll be having the crunchy calzones tonight.  That is a repeat favorite in our house now.

Thanks for the heads up Jenni. I had ordered two of the chicken dinners for guests coming next week. I wonder if I can make my own lemon sauce so I have a bit extra?
