As some of you may know, Dale and his lovely wife Regina met me and the team up at Road America in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin this past weekend to help put on the "test drive autocross" portion of MINI Takes The States 2008 (round 3.)

Wow Jon those pictures are awesome.  Was that Blues Travelers playing there.  If not somebody cloned John Popper  icon_razz  Looked like a great time I'm soooo jealous.  icon_razz

Thanks!  The pics are small and lo-res for internet use; you should see the originals.  Maybe I should set up a few wallpapers? 003

And yes indeed, that's Popper and Blues Traveler!  They played just for a select few hundred MINI owners (and non-owner enthusiasts like myself of course.)  They sounded awesome.

Tomorrow I'm flying to LA to help with the fourth and final MTTS '08 event at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena this weekend.  Can't wait to beat on more '09 JCW's!  045

Jon's right, we had a blast. He did the test drive portion in all 4 events. We were at Boston and Chicago (Sheboygan-Road America). I think Boston was prettier, but Chicago had an SCCA race and planes flying in for the Osh Kosh Fly-in. PLanes, Race Cars and MINI's! Tell me, what could be better? Driving up to and into Boston kinda sucked though.
