One of the most horrific crimes possible happened early this morning.  A Police Officer was killed in the line of duty.   087  May his wife and two sons find peace.  May the scum who killed him rot in prison and then in hell for eternity.  Thank you for your service to our community Detective Phillips.  Rest in peace.

Here is an excerpt from the Virginian Pilot news story...

"Detective Michael Smith Phillips was sitting in a pickup truck with a suspect, in the middle of an undercover operation to buy half a pound of marijuana, when another man came up and shot him three times in the torso, Virginia Beach Police Chief Jake Jacocks said in a press conference Friday."

The full story can be found HERE

A Police Officer Died Today

Somebody killed a policeman today
And a part of America died.
A piece of our country that he swore to protect
Will be buried with him at his side.

The suspect who shot him will stand up in court
With counsel demanding his rights;
While a young widowed mother must work for her kids
And spend many long, lonely nights.

The beat that he walked was a battlefield, too
Just as if he had gone off to war.
Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half mast,
To his name they will add a gold star.

Somebody killed a policeman today,
Maybe in your town or mine.
While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors,
A cop put his life on the line.

Now his ghost walks the beat on dark city streets.
And he stands at each new rookie's side.
He answered the cal... of himself gave his all,
And a part of America died.

Worthless of questionable parentage! That's why I'd NEVER let a criminal out of prison if I were king of the world. Just build more prisons! And make them so damn horrible people would never want to come back if they did ever get out. Thank you society for helping to fester pieces of human debris such as this! Who ever let him out of jail earlier today should be brought up on charges.

And Yes, may God rest Detective Phillips' soul and show pity on his family.

Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends.   059
He is not here on this earth, but he will always be with you.
He is a Hero for his fight against  evil.

Dale is right about the society now.  Too many rights for crackheads and murders. Some one who should be in jail was not and now a  life of a protector is gone.

I just wish that US Troops could be brought home to America so that they could work with the Police Departments in fighting the WAR we have going on in our OWN BACKYARD.  Every time I pick up a paper, watch the news, or log on,  I read stories which make me think, is America the land of the free?  Free form what punishment?  Cause I don't feel so free when I want to take a stroll somewhere, but don't for fear of what's out there.  Yes America we are at war. The enemy is US.  Time to get all the heads out of the sand and take a look around.

Yes Detective Phillip's died a Hero.
