Hampton Roads Club Mini

Phil Wicks has informed me that due to the overwhelming positive response from the event held this past July 21 at VIR, there is a chance he may be able secure another date at VIR, THIS YEAR -- either in October or November.  It would again be a Monday event. The feedback from the last event has been extremely positive, especially pertaining to the Solo I and Time Trials portion of the event. He indicates that everyone who participated in those segments enjoyed them immensely, and they are now finding them to be a very popular component of all their Driving Academy events across the nation. 

As there would be no sponsor for this additional event, as there was in July, they would only be able to offer the discount price of $225 to early registrants and returning students, with all others being charged $300. Keep in mind that this additional event will not preclude Phil from bringing a bigger (2-day) event to VIR next year.

So now for the question….We are trying to gauge interest in this fall ’08 event, so please indicate here if you’d be interested in attending. The results of this survey will have a lot to do with whether or not Phil continues his discussions with the folks at VIR, and seeks to lock in a date this fall.

It's offical and here's the announcement out of Phil Wicks...

We have heard from many of you already regarding the date added at VIR.  Flow MINI is a marketing sponsor of this event.  At the last event, they were also a financial sponsor.  Flow MINI and the Phil Wicks Driving Academy wanted to make this offer to you because of the great response at the last event. 
 
If you will read the document, all participants receive a minimum of 6 on-track sessions.  Those participating in Solo I Autocross will potentially receive 3 additional sessions for a total of 9 on-track sessions.  That is a 30% increase over the July event.
 
We will offer the following early registration discount:  $250 for registrations received in our office by October 20, 2008.  Registrations received after that date will be charged the full amount.  There can be no exceptions.
 
I hope this helps you make your decision to attend the November 10 event.  So get your registrations in now to ensure your spot!

We have just added another date to the 2008 schedule -- Monday, November 10, 2008 at Virginia International Raceway.
 
A description of the day and fees is included in the attachment to this e-mail.  The office will be closed until September 16 -- but you should get your registration in as soon as possible to ensure space.  Print the registration form and either send it to the office or e-mail it to this e-mail.  All payments will be processed once we return on September 16.
