I call the Marshmallow Salad!   027

J/K

How many groups are coming?  Because I've found in large event feeding, there is always WAY too much food left over...  I often wonder what is the appropriate amount to prepare for any given dish, you know?  102  Thoughts?

So far there are 28 people signed up and as it gets closer I'm sure more people will sign up.  (Come on...let us know if you're coming! 079)  Just my opinion but I would think that bringing enough servings for approx. half of the attendants would be a good plan.  Not everyone will eat each item.  Now paper products & drinks is another story....because this is an all day event people will drink more and they will more than likely eat a couple times.

Side Note:
Last year some of us showed up early and stayed the whole day to keep an eye on the food and shelter.  If you can stay, I recommend it because there’s a lot to do at the park and it really is a great relaxing day.  We ask that you try to be there at the start of the event if you're bringing a main component of food or food prep. items or try to get the item to someone who is coming early.  Thanks!! 023

I'll bring some kind of dessert!  Probably cookies or brownies or something similar.  I won't know until I start looking through cook books!  (I'll also bring just a few [2 or 4] veggie or turkey burgers.  Let me know if there are any other non red meat/pork eaters coming so I bring enough!)
