I am looking for the following:

Someone experienced with installation of adjustable coilovers, rear control arms, and rear sway bar.  I would like to have assistance/guidance/mentoring on installing the above-listed items onto Schultze.  I don't yet have a garage and my tools are being slowly replaced after disappearing somehow...but I do have a floor jack, a pair of jackstands, metric sockets, etc.

Food & beverages will gladly be provided!

I went shopping at MOTD 2008 and would really like to get the parts installed soon......

Thanks!

Erika

I am sure you know already, but be sure to schedule an alignment asap.  I'd love to help but can't do much when I am 1000 miles away.  Just curious what all did you get?

Sorry to jack the thread for a sec.  I am living in Gulf Shores, AL about 35 miles west of Pensacola.  I am currently taking classes in college and working a little at a restaurant.  Other than dodging a hurricane every once in a while, I can't really complain.  Just sucks cause there aren't any clubs down here or auto X.    009

With no 009 garage I believe this will be put on hold with Hanna  115 coming our way. 045 I thought about raising the Hubby's hand 039 for you, 045 but his garage will be housing his main squeeze (no, 018 not me)  out of the weather conditions.  Well, at least I bumped your post. 023

If I weren't going to be taking Tyler (actually his STUFF) to Charlotte this weekend, I'd offer the use of the shop.

Road trip to Charlotte in bad weather...sounds like fun!   107

Thanks for offering up your garage...without any experienced help, though, I'd still be a fish out of water.   022

Are you offering to help install them?

could be on a sunday or wed. which are my days off.(remember im down in Richmond)  But really just to help with the set up since im running an earlier version and had custom springs made. If you have the one with the 8k fronts and 6k rears. also dont plan on running R compounds then having them set at snug with one maybe two turns up is good.  If you plan on using R-comps then you need to go 12-14 turn up on the fronts and 10 turns on the back. If not you run the risk of bottoming out.

The springs per mine (that came with the megans)  were designed for a suspension having 4" of travel. The Megans have only 3" of travel.

Yes, I have the 8k/6k front/back setup.

Not planning on autoxing at the moment...

I'm off on Sundays/Wednesdays too (always have Sundays off, sometimes Tuesday/Wednesdays).

I need to find the box with the H-sport rear control arms...what's your input (or anyone else who wishes to share an opinion) about replacing OEM bushings with the poly bushings?

Any other items I should buy/install while everything else is being done?

New sway bar endlinks.  The stock ones are about the thickness of a pencil and depending on how low you go could break.  Get a set for front and rear.  they are worth it.
