That's a bad motor mount Trish.  They are oil dampened, meaning they have oil in them.  If you are still under warranty that should be a warranty repair.

Hey Jeff, the first avail appt I could get at CF about warranty work like this is next Thursday...what are the chances of me/my car surviving til then. I put about 25 miles on the car per work day.  Should I push the issue with them??

While I like the guys at CF getting into the service department is pretty difficult. We had an issue with Tyler's radio. It was going to take CF over a week to get a look at it. He was heading back to school, so that wouldn't work. We took it to Crown in Richmond, got an appointment two days later, got a great Lightning blue 08 MCS as a loaner and got the car back in two days with a new radio. Hated driving to Richmond, but the service is far easier to get an appointment and so far have been pretty darn good.

As for the motor mount, I think you'll be okay for a few days. Ya might have a bit of a vibration but I wouldn't think you'll have any major issues.

Hey thanks Dale. I was checking out NAM and saw similar posts. Good stuff to read. Someone also mentioned a chirping sound. Now, I've had that for a week or so; thought it was a belt related to the a/c? not sure.

i had the same issue - only my car is no longer under warranty!  Got the work done by a very talented young man - maybe a half hour of labor and it was very cost effectice - at least 1/2 of what CF would have charged and I was never without my car - let me know if you want his name & number!
