 Hi all,

John from the UK checking in 039, nice friendly site you have here.

I live out in the 'burbs, just south west of London (Epsom, Surrey)

Been a MINI owner for just over 3 years & still loving it.

I drive an 03 MCS in Electric Blue, quite a few mods have been done to the car & if I can work out how to post them I'll put up some photos (I'm not the best with these compooter things 017).

Cheers all

John

Welcome John,

Nice to have someone from "across the pond" finding our site. If you ever make it over look us up.

I spent some time at RAF Fairford back in 1991, beautiful area. Walking into buildings that were 500- 600 years old was amazing. We want to someday take a vacation back to the UK.

Hey John, I see you found our little site. For those of you that don't know, across the pond they have a great MINI magazine called Modern MINI. It's decidedly European in flavor. They have great content and give a really new perspective on the MINI lifestyle. I enjoy every page. They did a story on John, who owns a mobile waterless valeting service. I had sent him an email telling him I liked his electric blue MCS, the story they did and inquiring about his business. If you get a chance check out www.modernmini.co.uk  they have a great site and a great magazine.

Welcome John, if you ever get over here certainly give us a shout!

Hi John

Welcome to the group.  I usually use photobucket for posting pictures.  039

I've got a photobucket account with photos uploaded in it, I just haven't got the know how to link them to anywhere 022,  I'm not too good on the copy & paste thing. I'll have to get my wife to look over my shoulder with full instructions.

Let me know when you are coming over John & I'll tell her to put the kettle on for you icon_mrgreen

Hey John,
Once in your photobucket account, left mouse click in the IMG Code box.
You'll see a little "Copied" note pop up then disappear.
Then go to your HRMINI, or other forum style message board and in the place where you would type your text,

Right mouse click and "Paste" the link.

On your screen, you'll see the test link ( minus those asterisks) but the image will show once you post or preview.

Good luck and we all hope to see pics soon!!

Electric Blue was always one of my favourite colours, so when I saw the car just before I bought it, it may as well have had a 'sold to John' sticker on it icon_mrgreen
