Any interest in running down to Parkers BBQ in Wilson for lunch after the first of the year. It's about a three hour trip down through some nice open farm land. I was thinking about shooting an email over to the Tarheel MINI guys and see if they're interested in meeting up. Any thoughts?

There is another Great BBQ place in Weldon NC called Ralph's. It's right off 95 just past emporia. But there is a great back road route. That's another option if everyone doesn't feel like driving that far.

YUMMM!!!  NC BBQ sounds so good right now.  I've been in a country that frowns on Pork products for entirely too long.  Sounds like a fun trip, but the "imposter" might not be able to keep up you seasoned drivers.  LOL

The facility isn't as much of an issue as is BBQ and friendly MINI/Mini owners. If it's closer, that only means more time to eat! I'll check it out.

I figured we'd wait until after all the holiday hecticness (hectivity?) is over and THAT food has digested first.

Count us in, as long as you don't select the weekend of the 17th -18th. We are going on a cruise from January 15 - 23.

Oh, yeah!!!!  I'm always up for some Parker's or Bill's.  Just so happens the Antique Barn is right there too for all you train lovers.   icon_mrgreen
