I usually get off work around 5 p.m. I work at Ft. Eustis, so anywhere between there and Va. Beach is fine by me for a meet-up place on the Peninsula. I just hope traffic is not too terrible getting through the HRBT. Hopefully I can find a few minutes in between the work thing to log in and check for an update on this.

Well since the idea is to have dinner ready around 6 is always on my agenda, but we usually eat around 7pm so we don't fall in the normal slot either. LOL We probably won't be leaving until everyone gets home and homework done, so we don't plan on being there until 7ish.

Are you saying that you will be arriving at 6:30? That sounds better to me. I thought most folks ate dinner between 5 and 6pm.  I don't but I thought that normal people did. Hehee  My plan was to be there around 6.... |

I unfortunately won't be able to make it to the dinner tonight. I need to drive back to Pennsylvania this evening. I am hoping to be able to make the drive in January. If I can't make the drive, I'll be sure to send in a donation.

Had hoped to meet up and caravan togoether as a group, but not sure when I can get out of the shop now. But I WILL be there!! BTW, do drink orders count towards the benefit? Some of those drinks sound good! |

I'll be the crip barely making it throught the door tonigh.  Believe me, I'll be looking like I've been drinking, even though I don't, at all.  I've been shoveling 6 cubic feet of mulch into wheel barrels and spreading it around the gardens in the yard... all day.  I finally finished up a few minutes ago to get a shower and head out for the dinner. Sounds like we are going to have a nice turn out. See everyone there.  Oh, my neighobr who owns vettes came over today and asked about the run being organized. I think he and his wife may be with us. That will be a blast in a half!  All for an excellent cause to boot!!! How many of these vette folks will be with us? |

Thank you all for such a great turnout. It is much appreciated and Heather was really overwhelmed with the support. We are certainly looking forward to having pie this weekend and seeing everyone.
It was good to meet you Forrest, I'm sorry I couldn't stay much later, but I hope you can make it out for the Lights and Pie Run this weekend. Bring the family, it should be a great time.
