This is Laurie's niece Cindy posting for her. She wants me to inform you that Sydney, the magnificent Westie, passed away on Christmas Day in Florida. Laurie will be back in Virginia on Saturday afternoon.

Oh Laurie, I am sooooo sorry. That is horrible. Poor baby Sidney. We will miss her sooo much. She will always be the HR MINI mascot.

That is just too sad! After all that little pup had been through. She was so cute and could make friends anywhere. I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, and I agree, HR MINI won't be the same without her.
If it's not too much of an intrusion, may I ask what happened?

Laurie,
It was always a pleasure seeing Sydney in her doggles, in her seat, out on the MINI runs. She was a wonderful companion and family member and will truely be missed. So sorry for her loss.

Thank you one & all. It still is had to believe. We think she might have had a heart attack and fell in the pool. There was nothing that I could do for her. My heart is breaking, I am anxious to get home to my other two. My lif was so enriched because of her. Thank you again for your kind words.

I think it's fair to say ALL of us were enriched by Sydney. The couple of times I was in her company, I really enjoyed her attitude. She was just so laid back and knew SHE had the world by the leash.

Laurie,
Deb and I send our heartfelt sympathies. We have an old pooch ourselves right now, not to mention a 16 year old cat, so we know it's coming. She was a sweet and wonderful dog and will be missed.

Laurie, it's a sad moment for us all. Sydney was just too cool. I consider myself blessed to have been able to know her. She was a very sweet little dog. I hope that the two big ones at home will be of comfort to you.
