Here's the Deal: WHERE: Checkered Flag MINI 5209 Virginia Beach Blvd. Virginia Beach, VA 23462 WHEN: 10:00AM to 5:00PM WHY: Why not?.... Sounds like fun! See Details Below: Rekindle the romance with MINI this Valentine's Day. Checkered Flag MINI will be having an Open House featuring a MINI Car Show that includes Classics as well. Members from Se7en Cities MINI will also be on site. Registration for the car show is preferred by e-mailing Susan Drees at sdrees@checkeredflag.com. Now, to fill in some blanks. The car show portion is opened up to anyone that wants to enter. All entries must be in before 12:00PM, because the shows starts promptly at noon. In order to guage preliminary interest amongst owners of classic Mini's, a few weeks ago I sent out a mass e-mail to our Mid-Atlantic Mini's members right after this was set up with Checkered Flag. At that time, I had a handful of owners responding that they were interested in attending, and John is one of them. Now that the word of this event has been officially announced, I'll give them all a reminder. See you there !!
For any of you owners of classic Mini's who are not in our membership roster but might like to be, please PM me and I'll get you all the details. Best part is ... it's free !!

The event will include newer MINI's as well, so if you have a tricked out clubman, or maybe the sweetest looking JCW in town (Cough mine cough), bring it on by. We will have different Categories for the show!
We want to have owners here to meet and have some fun!

Well maybe we can get the HRMINI folks to gather for some ICE CREAM or Coffee and head over! I'll be in the 4900 pound counterfiet Toyota MINI, 4 wheel drive, roof rack... full of kids and cherrios!  |

I did send off some registration email today. I hope the weather is nice. February isn't exactly a Car Show kind of month from my experience. But what the heck, this is VA and who knows, it could be a 70 degree day with a ton of sunshine. Unless WARPED does some ritual winter snow dance....  Lets see some tricked out MINIs too, anybody got one with Lambo doors yet?  |

No real tricks on my Mini.  Just a little DDM cold air and ram air intake. I do have one really cool color matching, custom fitted by me, Disney Cars eye balls sunshade that I'll plaster on the front windshield for giggles. It goes over really well with all the kids and most adults with a sense of humor.  Oh, I also display some wicked looking hibiscus flowers on the mirror caps and sunroof.  |

Does anyone here know if Mr Mullens has been informed about this event yet? I had his cell # awhile back but lost it when I manually updated my new phone. I would hope he has his carburator fixed by now.

Okay, I haven't seen anyone else ask this yet, so I will.
I see 7 cities MINIs is involved with the CF show on the 14th. Are they still around? I haven't seen anything indicating such. Their website still says the same thing. Inquiring minds like mine, well mine anyway, want to know.

I'm thinking maybe Randy's trying to re-boot c7m. From what I've been able to gather, this event was co-organized by him and CF. The c7m web site has been down for the count for quite a long time now, but there was a message that came thru on the c7m section of NAM a few days ago, announcing the event.
