I noticed the Valentines Day Car show @ CF isn't on the calendar. Could that be because it's not sponsored by HRMINI?

Enquiring minds would like to know.

Thanks Wendy for puting it up. Now if the weather is as nice as this past weekend, it should be a nice show.

Does anyone know anything about the "HRMINI Planning Session" which has been recently added to the schedule for 6PM on May 18? Whatever it is, it's conflicting with our get together at Stans and the dinner at Quaker Steak & Lube.

This started out as (my idea) a tire kicking session at Stans with a walk across to eat dinner, possibly followed by a drive up to the Coleman Bridge. This is the first I'm hearing differently. If there's a specific agenda on the table that some of us aren't aware of, please speak up and fill us in. Thanks.

I agree with Howie 100% on this one!  (Actually, for the record...I can't recall EVER disagreeing with Howie!)

Nowhere in the original Quaker Steak & Lube thread was there EVER any discussion of making the gathering a "planning event" and I think it's a bit underhanded to suddenly have an agenda.  Surely this was an oversight and not intentional.

Earlier this afternoon I looked at the calendar hoping to see the QSL thread and saw a rather droll "Planning Session" posted.

What's the scoop?

Relax, Relax, Kathy and I were talking about getting together with a few members and discussing the upcoming events for HR MINI and the future of the world in general. We've decided QS&L will be too noisy, much like the Pub, to do much planning.

So this will just be a nice casual gathering for a place some of have wanted to go for too long now. Of course, much like this gathering, if anyone wants to step up and plan some events, we can still certainly talk about it Tuesday. Ya see how easy it is to plan something like this. Simply say lets do it, and before ya know it, ya got people showing up.
