Do any of you guys watch Top Gear? If you don't, its a car program broadcast by the BBC. Its only shown in the UK, so if you wanna watch it you have to pirate it, lol. Anyways, if anyone here watches it, I'd love to discuss it since its an interesting and hilarious show. They review the 02 Mini, so I'll try to find the link to that review and post it  109

Yeah, we get some of the old episodes on BBC America, but my room mate at VT torrents them so we get the new ones when they come out. I don't know what's gonna happen with the Stig lawl. The last one got shot of an aircraft carrier. The BBC released a vid thats on Autoblog of the Black Stig emerging from the ocean on a beach in the UK, so maybe they'll bring him back. I've seen the original Stig and I think that White Stig is a better driver, but maybe they'll just put a new driver in the  black suit.  026

The new season of Top Gear started last week. My DVR is setup to record each new episode on BBC America. The channel is 252 on Cox Cable.

Me and my roomie torrent the seasons when they come out in the UK, so we get them earlier than BBC America, the summer season starts somewhere between March and June. Final Gear sometimes has sites to torrent from whenever the season starts so if you can find em you can get the shows. My dad works for WHRO and he's gonna try to get the Big Bosses to convince the BBC to run Top Gear on PBS, but we'll see how that pans out.  PopcornEmoticon

Good luck getting Top Gear on PBS. Being a BBC production is helpful, no doubt. In the meentime, I just watch what I can on YouTube. Those Interview shows with celebrities are some of my favorites.

Yeah, the interviews that the show does are pretty good sometimes, but unfortunately a lot of the celebrities are famous in Britain so I have no clue who they are, lol.

If you should one day have BBC America at your disposal, you can quickly find out who these wonderful English celebrities are. Until then, just watch some comedy and classics on PBS and that will get you started.

Can you imagine if in the end, it was really James May?  Captain Slow is really the Stig!  I love Top Gear, it's massively entertaining and funny.

Lawl, that would be really funny. They've had the Stig drive in his place a couple of times so its not out of the question. In one of the recent ones, the Stig took over a power test of the Pagani Zonda F roadster, and that was pretty good lol. But you're right, it is insanely entertaining. My room mate has a sound clip from one of the episodes play whenever he starts his computer.  icon_biggrin

at some point you guys should look for the show Fifth Gear i think the cars and presenters are much better and the driving is phenomenal... most of the hosts had some type of career in racing before the show....
