There has been talk in several different topics about driving to the Dragon so I started this topic so it is easier to find. I plan to leave Wednesday morning(4/28). If anyone wants to meet up and caravan to the dragon, we will be leaving from the Hardee's on Route 58 in Suffolk. The address is 1508 Holland Road. I plan to leave Hardees at 6:30 A.M. It is about an 8 hour drive to the dragon. This will put us at the hotels between 2:30 and 3:00. This is enough time to check in, unpack the car, rest a few minutes and then get ready for the welcome dinner. The easiest way to get to the Hardee's is to take route 58 by-pass around Suffolk (follow the signs towards Emporia). This is the same one we have meet at the last few years. Don't forget to brings radios with you. If you don't have them and plan to buy some make sure they are able to program sub-stations. See ya Wednesday morning.

Don, will we be using channel 16 sub 10 assigned for HRM at the dragon during the caravan also?

I still haven't totally ruled out going. I might take off Thursday and Friday and come home Saturday. Maybe. I have a class I gotta go tom Wednesday evening though.
