Many, wonderful thanks to Dale at Maaco for the painted trim and scoop!

Pics taken with phone.  Will post some better ones soon.

I wanted to post something of a teaser but I really didn't wanna steal Adam's thunder. After seeing them painted, I didn't think they'd look much different than stock, just shinier. But once they got on the car they really looked sharp!

I believe this is the first two tone MINI I have ever laid eyes on. Most tend to match the flares to the car. I like this very much, especially the color choice, can everybody say "Classy"?

Updated pictures.  Shrunk them so they are a little more manageable on the webpage.

Adam, I gotta admit I was a little worried about your choice at first. And then when I saw them painted I was even more worried. The color just wasn't that much different than the factory raw plastic. Yea, they were shiny, yea, they were slick. But really didn't look too much different than the factory flares. But when we put them on the car. WOW 103 The colors just "popped"! I think the silver with the dark silver arches looks awesome! We talked about the roof going the darker color instead black, but couldn't come to a consensus. As for now, I love the look as it sits! Very good choice my friend! 023

I think that's what's so appealing. It's very subtle until you notice it. Then it just kinda smacks ya in the face.

I appreciate the compliments.  I'm beginning to think I have the only two-toned MINI in the country.  There was one person with painted trim on a Chocolate Clubman at the Dragon, same chocolate color, but with orange metal flake.

Oh you started it now! And THAT Clubman took FIRST PLACE in class. With nothing else but metalflake arches! Okay, sour grapes rant over now. BTW, I got third behind the Mellow Yellow X-TAXI Clubman.
