How do you guys feel about long stories on the site (both members and administrators). A couple of people have mentioned they found my race story intresting. I have a new adventure to write about but wanted to get a feel for how you guys felt about posting stories here.
A hundred years ago when I was in the Z car club I'd write an occasional story for the newsletter. Mostly about my misadventures with cars or car trips. It seemed like I couldn't go anywhere without it turning into an epic. The Z club started calling them Royisms. I try to keep my stories light and funny but I have a warped since of humor.
WARNINGS
1- I tend to get long winded. The race story was extremely short.
2- I generally write in the third person
3- My speeling is bad, my puntuation is worse and my grammer ain't the goodest either.
4- I only write when I'm in the mood (or I've done something stupid) so there my be 2 in a month or 2 in a year.
I try to write as if I was telling a story while sitting around with friends drinking a beer (because I usually have a few while I'm writing).
So here's your chance to let me know if you want me to post some stories or just STHU.

Write on Brotha! And here's why I say so... 1. Anybody not interested ain't gotta read it. 2. We're all car guys and love a good story. 3. Especially if someone tears something up! 4. I love your spellings, punctuations and grammar! Heck, it looks like the the stuff I write! Bring it on!!!!! And BTW, give yourself a bit of credit, your stories rock! |

Thanks guys, I posted a story in the off topic section. I didn't know where to stick it so I just shoved it in there. Where should I post them? As I come up with them I"ll postem somewhere plus I have some old ones left over from the Z club I can add when I can't come up with something new.

Yes, the stories are cool. I'm sure whenever we're not motoring, we do have a good imagination of being on the road somewhere. Maybe even include a picture here and there.
