Goldie,

Come on and commit to the Cooper Vineyards Run, you know you want to come, and the rest of our regular members
are looking forward to meeting you and your Mini 054  If the weather is nice, I can assure you that you will have a terrific time, and the HRMINI members will make sure that you are VERY welcome. The drive from Hampton may be a bit "spirited",  and I can assure you that the second half of the run from Brewsters  to the Vinyard will be VERY FUN ! My wife, (2fun4me), and I really look forward to this event every year as it is one of our favorite events. Really hoping that you can attend, and am hoping to meet you there 039

Just a reminder, wheels up and on the road at 9:30AM from Bruster's. In a previous post I had listed 10 AM, but in the interest at making it to the vineyard near opening it was moved up a half an hour!

NEWS FLASH!!!

I just got an email from Jacque Hogge from Cooper Vineyard and we will have reserved parking for Winery Run participants. Last year it was a bear finding a spot and we all got separated from one another.

Change me to a maybe, Dale.  With the new pup coming home Thursday after having the big snip, I may need to stay home and take care of him.  I'll have to see how he does on car rides.

We'll have to see how he's feeling Friday evening and how he does on the ride home.  I don't want him to be uncomfortable or anything but I *really* don't want him to barf in Tug!

Hey guys, checking in from the Tar Heel MINIs side of things, planning on joining you guys for the Sat. morning run to the Vineyards, just wondering what channel you guys use for the two-ways?

Did anyone else who ordered their tickets online get them in the mail? I ordered mine around two weeks ago, they charged me but I don't have any tickets to show for it yet..maybe it's a will-call type thing?  102

See you guys Saturday!

Okay Tarheels
Be sure to check this link for all our meetup times
http://www.hrmini.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,32/topic,3161.msg32687/topicseen,1/#new
First screen shows a poster and all details

I checked the Cooper Vineyard advance ticket site and can confirm all tickets are ready for pickup when you arrive "will call"  The site says to bring your confirmation, but there is no confirmation supplied after the online purchase is made.  I am sure they have the names though, so I'm not worried about it.

No Dale, you cannot try to claim my ticket by saying you are Kathy...   018

Radio Channel is generally

Radio:  Channel 7 subchannel 21

After scouting out all the other MINI clubs for this event, and maybe some other upcoming events, I noticed that DC Metro MINIs occasionally used 7/21 for their communications. We might wanna think about an alternative, or maybe suggest the change their channels. Not a big deal until we get there and see.

Gang, this is looking awesome. I've talked the run up at several near by MINI clubs sites and I think the run over to the vineyard will be awesome. I'm thinking we'll see 30+ cars, if not more. Not to mention a MINI celebrity. Susan Palmer from Tarheel, will be attending. Y'all might remember her from Heather's Run. She had the white MINI from Carolina and collected the toys for Carbuck's Grandson's hospital. Well, since she's a certified MINIac, she did the Blue Ridge Parkway Tour, then the Great Ice Cream Run and finally the MINI's On Top. Doing the triple header was cool enough, but lucky her, she won the One year's lease of a new MINI that was raffled off. Our Run over to the Vineyard will be the inaugural event for her brand new MINI. So when you get to Bruster's make sure you find Susan and say hi. She is a true MINI fan and a really cool gal as well!

Just a quick housekeeping note.

We will be leaving Cracker Barrel in Hampton at 7:30. In the beginning of this thread I had posted we'll be leaving at 8. After discussions with a couple of other members we moved the time up to 7:30. Hope that doesn't screw anyone up.

8 a.m. would have been better, as my normal time up for work is 6:30.  Now it's 6 a.m. so I can make it in for some good ol' country breakfast.
