Hey, I just purchased a 2003 MCS. It's blue and white with white bonnet stripes. I'm looking to get more involved with the community of mini owners. I love out in Hampton so if anyone wants to get together let me know.

Where in Hampton ? Just a general area will do. My wife and I are a two Mini family and we live in Wythe. Would love to drop by and introduce myself and my "Target" to you, and check out your new ride one day.

Welcome aboard! I live in Denbigh. I usually make my way out to the early car meet on Saturdays at Hardee's on Jefferson, then later at Bass Pro Shops in Hampton. Stop by Maaco on Pembroke sometime and say hi to our body man Dale.

By all means, WELCOME aboard! We have a great bunch of people here, and if you're a MINI owner, you'll fit right in. We do scenic drives, dinner and ice cream gatherings and have a good group of autocrossers here. A few of us travel to other clubs events both to the DC and Carolina areas.
If you're looking to have fun with your MINI you have found the place in Hampton Roads!
And like Adam said, if you're around the Pembroke Ave area, stop by Maaco at 827 W. Pembroka and ask for me. My Clubbie is usually there!

Hey, I just purchased a 2003 MCS. It's blue and white with white bonnet stripes. I'm looking to get more involved with the community of mini owners. I love out in Hampton so if anyone wants to get together let me know.
So, have you named you new Mini yet ? All Mini's are different weather they are Classic Mini's or one of the "new " versions. Most non Mini owners just don't get it, when it comes to naming an automobille, but all Mini's seem to have their own personality and deserve to have a name. My first Mini was an '02 that was on the first truck that arrived from the factory at the brand new Checkered Flag Mini dealership. It was on display for about a month at the Va. zoo in Norfolk and then was donated to the zoo and they raffeled it off as a fund raising event. I won the car and promptly named it "Freebie" My current Mini is a '03 R53 that was rear ended 3 to 4 times within a month of my purchasing it. In one incident the other car hit me twice, so I can never decide if it was hit once ot twice I finally decided to name the little fellow "Target" because it seemed to fit !! Congrats on your new ride and am really looking forward to having a look at it. My "Target" is also an '03 MCS, Electric Blue with a white roof and white bonnet stripes. We have got to get these two cars together for a photo some time soon !!
