Sorry to hear about Tug.

At least you have spares.

Tide-wise, it would have to be a Category 4 or 5 strength before we would have to worry about water levels. Additional joy is our neighborhood power is all underground. Power flickered three times when I got up on Thursday morning. Went to work for all of two hours when the base commander decided to close. Guess Ft. Eustis can't close unless Newport News schools close.

Power went out once for about ten seconds before the backup circuit kicked in. Thankfully, that works. Ten years ago, it would have been power out, backup kick in, then backup fail. Yours truly complained on that one, and Va. Power came out and fixed it a couple of weeks later. Power had gone out like ten times that year. I'm sure they did not enjoy hearing I have $10K of computer equipment at home on top of that.

Most everyone I have talked to so far at work had power. I hope everyone on here faired well, too. One person lost power for eight hours, and another for one day. The rest had flickers.
