"January Dinner in honor of Schultz's B-day is Saturday, January 16th at 7pm.  Bring a donation for the SPCA if you are so inclined and make sure it gets into my car.  I will ensure delivery.

Location: Paradocks East Coast Grill  (sorry Jeff, majority rules here)
Chesapeake Square
4200 Portsmouth Blvd.
Suite 162B
Chesapeake, VA 23321
757.465-4345

http://www.paradocksgrille.com/menu.html"
Here is a list of items that would be very helpful:

Iams Dry Puppy, Kitten, Dog & Cat Food
Dog & Cat Treats
Rabbit Food
Hamster/Gerbil Food
Comforters (any condition)
Blankets (any condition)
Towels (any condition)
Nylon 6 ft. Leashes
Vet-Wrap Bandage
Frontline or Advantage
Flea Prevention
Gauze Bandage
Hemostats
Pet Eye & Ear Wipes
Bandage Scissors
Pet Combs & Brushes
Pet Kennels

I adopted Schultze on 01/13/07.

I see that there aren't any events on the calendar for January.

I would like to see if anyone would be interested in helping me celebrate Schultze's adoption day...

I was thinking that we could all meet at a restaurant and bring donations for the following:

Humane Society
Domestic Violence Shelter
Regional Food Bank
Homeless Shelter

The 13th is on a Wednesday, so perhaps a Saturday or Sunday would be better suited for more attendance?

Thoughts?

You know us, if you plan it, we will come!

Sounds like as good of a reason as any!

You decide, we'll follow. I know by then, I'll be looking for something to do by then!

So....do we want to meet at a restaurant on the Peninsula or on the Southside?

Well, I will be back in town from my big excursion to the North by then, but probably have duty on the wednesday.  Friday thru Sunday would be fun.  Always up for a get together.  And a charitable reason is even better.

I'm definitely in for this, especially with donating to the SPCA or similar.  My preference would be Southside in case my other half is out of town at the time, but I'll brave the tunnel for HRMini & a good cause!

I'm up for this and good timing too. The calendar was looking pretty sad. It'll be nice to see something listed on there  038

I'm game, minus a Mini for now.  Might hitch a ride with someone else.   039

These two restaurants are somewhat centrally-located (they are just south of the Monitor-Merrimac Bridge Tunnel and just north of the 164/Western Branch Freeway):

Ruby Tuesdays
Applebees

Yes, these are run-of-the-mill chain restaurants, but because they *are* chains, they'll be more apt to handling our group's needs quite nicely.

Open to suggestions for other restaurants, of course!   100

Either sounds fine to me.  Pick one and your time and date.  I'll have Wendy put it on the calendar.

This place looks great!  I have to wonder at the parking situation, but can't imagine it would be too bad being near the mail!  I'm in!!!!
