Dale, I looked up the website you posted for BDs Mongolian Grill and decided to give it a try. They gave me balloons and a free dinner plus a big ol hot fudge sundae with nuts for free! So I don't know why they didn't like you!  Seriously, the food was just as awesome as you expect it to be since you pick out all your own ingredients. The abundant staff was friendly, informative and responsive. I had to taste about 1/2 dozen sauces to make up my mind. The website has a members club that allows you to sign up. They send you a $5.00 off coupon good for about 2 weeks (so wait until 2 weeks or less before the February Dinner to sign up). $5.00 off the $8.50 dinner price is a very good deal. But it was also my birthday, so I got a coupon for my dinner for free!. Plus they slid in a giant mug of hot fudge sundae and balloons all at no charge. Very nice birthday surprise!  |

My resolution this year is to do my best to attend as many HRMINI events as possible...I had to miss the gathering on Jan 2nd due to illness, but I will definitely be attending the Jan event (duh!) and the Feb event, too! I should have been clearer. Part of the website sign-up for their club asks for your birthdate. Then they send you a coupon for a free meal around your birthday. Quite a few other places do the same. I have a coupon for a free Cold Stone on my desk right now! |

Wouldn't be able to show up till around 8:30ish... Can you guys push the time to 8? I would really like to go. My wife would have to drive the coop from our house and pick me up at the Newport News shipyards shortly after 8 when I get off and head on over...  |

Maybe split the difference and make it 7:30 p.m.? Besides, I was almost an hour late to the January dinner, and the gang was still waiting for food. Unless of course this place is a buffet; there won't be alot of waiting.

Just a reminder. The February 2010 dinner is this coming Saturday. 7pm. at the new BD's Mongolian Grill at the Hampton Town Center. Anyone that was at our first Brittish Pub meeting should have no problem finding it. The place is VERY close to the Pub. Directly across the large parking area from the front entrance of the new Target and only about 100 yards from the Pub. Looking forward to seeing you there  |
