I'm waiting on the beachcomber so I can trade my clubman and explorer in for one.. I have always liked jeeps.. So with the 4 wheel drive and versatility like my exploder and being a Mini with rag doors and top like a jeep. That's a win win situation for me. But the Countryman will have it's fair share of sales.. Considering all the people who own SUV's in the states and want better fuel mileage and 4wheel to boot.. Just wish it had a diff grill.. The beachcombers is much better..

I was really excited about this when it was in the concept stages. The pics have changed up a great deal since then. It's turning into more of a mom and pop looking small suv as I see it. So much for holding out I do believe.

Well, guys... I would have to say that the countryman looks 10 times better in person... Trust me, I have seen both the white Cooper S all 4 and a Dark Silver Cooper version when I was in NYC. They had them at the Auto show, while I was at a meeting with MINIUSA... It looks so much better in person. I will tell you as you can see, it is very different then what everyone is used to out of a MINI. Fear not, it will be a great driving car as they all are. They will be focused on a new kind of buyer to the MINI brand! I am really looking forward to it and I know the wife is too (she wants to trade her MINI in for one already). We will have them at the dealership around February 5th 2011, which is currently set as the launch date!
