I finished wiring in my Kicker subwoofer amp to the stock stereo.  The long part was running the RCA wires and remote lead from the boot to the unit.  This had already been done previously when I bought my '02 MCS, so this was my first time doing it.  The guide in my Bentley manual was not so complete, so I had to search online for other harness references.  I spliced in a set of RCA connectors from an old amp into the rear left and right speaker channels.  I'm pretty confident in making this mod for anyone else who wants to do so.

I ordered a harness from New Mini Stuff.  The one I ordered was for two RCA drops, one set for the front speakers and one set for the back speakers.  The problem is the harness has ONLY the RCA connections, which means all speakers would have to be powered by aftermarket amps.  This was not what I wanted.  I assumed the harness would allow for both RCA connections AND using the factory speaker wiring.
