Tonight at 6 PM there will be a reception honoring our very own HARRY!
It is rumored that Harry might actually wear LONG pants.
Navy photojournalist Harry Gerwien showcases his forty years of photography He is speaking on April 22 at 6 p.m. at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum. While listening his stories, enjoy wine tasting and a nibble of cheese. Admission is free, but reservations are required. Call 757-322-3109 to make reservations.

Never fear, HRMINI was in the house. Dave & Kathy, Mike & Cindy, and Laurie were there. Harry seemed very pleased that we were there  There were a lot of people there to see Harry's gallery of photo's and get a chance to purchase his book and have it signed. It was fun and I'm very glad we were there Oh, and for those that just have to know..... Harry was wearing shorts |

Really wish I couldda made it! At 11:25 still feel like crap. But glad Harry had a good time. Thanks for holding up the HR MINI end of the group! And major kudos to Harry and his shorts! I knew he wouldn't let us down! |

I'm completely braindead.  However, if it's any consolation, I did not even get away from work until about 6 p.m. Would have been at least 7 p.m. before I got there. And I was exhausted when I went home.  |

Harry, I am proud to know you. You put on a wonderful show with very entertaining stories. Loved the walk around gallery and appreciated a few MINI shots!! It was great to see you. Hats off to you for such a fine event.

I had the pleasure of walking in with Alba, Harry's neighbor. This was Alba's first venture away from her comfort zone after becoming a widow and the HRMini gang proved to be the GREAT welcoming accepting group that it is. Alba has an understanding of our cars - she sees Harry washing his on a daily basis - that she asked if she could be the honorary step sister with her car - not a Mini, but it is an "S". camry and all she is a member of HRMini. Thanks to Mike and Cindy for walking her safely to her car through the "scary" streets of downtown Norfolk.

I bought a couple of Harry's books last year and gave one to a great friend of mine. If you haven't read it yet its very informative. Properly like his talk. So sorry we had to miss it.
