Okay guys, I'm getting close to setting this up. For those of y'all that don't know, Moss Motors is a major supplier of MINI accessories and replacement parts. Here's their WEB SITE. They have just opened a new warehouse in Petersburg near the intersection of I 85 & I 95.

Here's what I have so far. THIS weekend, they're hosting the Tidewater (He thinks) MG club. If anyone from HR MINI wants to attend, they're offering 10% off everything in stock except, superchargers and brake kits.It's from 10 to noonish. I wish I could make it, but I gotta work.

Here's what I'm asking of you, fellow HR MINI owners. They're willing to give us our own meet and greet day. I'll gladly invite our great friends from DC METRO and TAR HEEL MINI's. I'd like to see a hundred or more MINI's up there to support them. While MOSS vends parts for Mustang, Ford trucks, and various British vehicles, I would like to show them the support the MINI community can supply.

I've done some searching and here's some dates that are open. They want some dates to choose from so they can judge what fits their schedule.  They do a good amout of car shows once the season gets rolling. See which ones of these fit y'alls schedules;

April 3 or 24, May 8, 15, 23, June 5, 12, 26, July 10, 24, 31. I really don't wanna wait any longer unless their schedule dictates.

What dates look good to y'all?

My best guess is to get with the other clubs and make sure your suggested dates don't conflict with anything major at their end.

That does avoid any conflicts on Tar Heels side. DC doesn't have a whole lot in the way of scheduling posted at the moment. But rest assured, I will have them accounted for when we set a date. I wanna make sure we get as many possible MINI's as we can!

April, May or June. July is too hot. I hate cruising with AC on. Defeats the whole purpose of cruising.

Well, it's not too far away distance-wise.  I suggest one of the April dates to help jumpstart Spring.  Maybe some of us will have leftover $$$ from tax season.  Would be a good reason to get more mods before hitting the Dragon.

As I have such a poor track record for attendance to 99% of the events that get scheduled, I'll just sit back and see what date everyone else agrees upon, and do my utmost to attend. I'd love some up close and personal time with the guys at Moss.

God knows they've seen loads of my hard earned greenbacks in the last 2 years with my classic. All I need now is a reason to spend a few more on Jeeves. 115

The ball is in their court. Just waiting to hear back from them. I'll call them by the end of the week if I haven't heard anything by then.

Hey, Dale.  When you get a chance... find out if Moss Mini has made up their mind on this.  Thanks.
