Hey Guys, it's never top early to start planning. This years Fall Colors will be a week earlier and be held on October 15-17.

Now, do y'all have any issues with going back to the Highland Inn? I really enjoyed the place and like Kathy said, it was like a big frat house the way we took over. Not to mention how willing they were to work with us. They were great! And, there are still plenty of roads around there to explore! I'm also fond of the one location, two day format. That is versus changing over night accommodations for Friday and Saturday nights.

Give me some input. We still have a good deal of time.

Yeah, you would think some hillbilly put it there for no reason at all.  It's not like a bird was going to use it for a nest and dropped it.   017

The same as last year is great with me.  The people there were so great to us and it WAS a big Frat House!!  It is so much fun having everyone just a yell across the hall or porch.

I'm all for staying there again.  Having a friend at every turn is a big plus too!

Last year we were in Montery, VA. If you look at a map of VA and follow I 64 to where it meets I 81 and continue the line 64 would go west for another 25 miles or so, you'll see Monterey. It's at the intersections of routes 220 and 250. 250 is the route west from Staunton that takes you to Monterey. Some really great roads. Last year we made a southerly loop to Cass, WV and stopped at the train depot for lunch. We'll fins somewhere new for this year. Sunday we rode up to Seneca rocks. Likewise nice roads and Seneca was great.

We'll probably head west of Monterey this year and head back east for Sunday.

Details will follow, but ya don't wanna miss this one!!!!! Last year was great and it'll be hard to top it. But I'll try!

Dale -- just sent you a PM about another subject and just asked you about preliminary dates on this. Disregard that part of the PM and I have this on my calendar. I am still bummed about missing it last year (Dragon date conflict) and my MINI refuses to miss it again this year.

Since I am unfamiliar with the area (an advantage, it will all be novel and new!) I will refrain from contributing any suggestions and I'll just go along with the plan .. following the MINI in front of me ..

Hopefully we'll get some other THMMC'ers to come along. As the time gets closer, post it to the forum and on the Events calendar.
