 Hey Gang, At our last Wednesday at the Pub, we discussed going back to the Highland Inn in Monterey for this years edition of the FCR. The responses online and at the Pub were unanimous! Everyone wanted to go back. Well, it seems they're pretty keen on our return as well. This years event will be a week earlier! Mark you calendars for October 15-17, 2010!Much as last year, I plan on a darkness run on both Friday and Saturday nights. Lets hope there isn't a torrential downpour this year! Our standard drive on Saturday and another shorter run on Sunday. I really enjoyed the run up to Seneca rocks last year. Hopefully Chef Lisa will still make her fabulous dinners. We are looking forward to this again. But this year I wont be able to bring up the rear (too much HP).  That's good, I distinctly felt a small justa clubman pushing me thru the mountains last year, pretty sure the extra horsepower would not be good behind me this year. LOL |

Am betting that as you were looking to pass my slow self on the inside of a slow turn, ( I thought it was a "slow" turn) Elaine wasn't "yelling", she was SCREAMING  No worries, I'll keep to the back of the pack in the future, especially knowing that there will probably be a "Stinker 2" on the run to Monteray !! BTW. Any news on the delivery date ?? |

Room is booked  Got the same room we had last year  The Inn's web site shows all of the rooms as booked. Not to worry. The rooms aren't taken, they just reserved the whole place for us. |
