Yeah, I've been seeing about in on the boards off-and-on. The quick trip will involve taking I-64 to I-295, then I-95 to I-495 beltway in D.C. From there, take I-270 west up to I-70/76. They split around Hunker, PA. Continue NW on I-76 up to I-80 in Ohio. Then hit I-480 heading NW to I-90. Time would be 8-9 hours depending on which map program you use. The long trip would be going down I-64 to I-81, then back on I-64 to Charleston, WV. From there, we would go up I-77 all the way to just south of Cleveland, Ohio. From there, it would be west on I-90. Time would be 9.4 to 10 hours depending on which map program you use. The best approach would be to drive up on Friday, stay Saturday, then drive home Sunday. It's doable.  |

That and no mapping software i've ever seen quite compensates for the 3-4 hrs sittin on the DC beltway. LOL

Man I really wanna do this! Only real down side is it's a Saturday, meaning we'd need to leave Friday. Now I used ot have a kid that worked for me from Parma, OH. He'd leave around 4 or 5 PM and get to Parma by midnight. Not sure I wanna try that banzai kinda run. Maybe leave mid day Friday. Cleveland looks to be around 9-9.5 hours away. Google maps has me going up 95 to Rte 17 at Fredericksburg then to Rte 522 to the PA Turnpike then northwest to Cleveland. Of course coming home Sunday we could shoot straight down I 77 to WV and make a run through twisty Rte 60 through Rainelle and Anstad. Very fun Dragon like roads. Lets talk about this, I wanna make this happen! BTW, here the PUB MEET WEBSITE |

Hey, I know things have been a little busy around the club lately, but I am trying to get this weekend off from work. If successful, I will be heading up to the Columbus OH area on Friday night. I will probably be headed up to the Pub based on Denisa's work schedule on Saturday. Hopefully she doesn't work until late after noon, then we could be up there early for lunch and hangin out with a bunch of Mini owners! Let me know if I can expect to run into anyone else.

Well, as much as I want to go, I think I'm going to pass. I've been going out of town to so much lately, I have some other stuff I need to catch up on around the house. My next big event, if I go, will be MOT.
