Too bad the crown tickets are sold out. It is quite the climb but well worth it. You can always check back with them when you get there. Sometimes people don't show up for their tickets and they will let you purchase one if they have any left over after everyone there is taken care of. I would not want to drive in NY City.

Between the roads up North and the congestion I'm gonna pass. New England roads have cost me 2 wheels and 2 tires so far between the Clubman and Tyler's MINI.

I do think this would be cool though!

I think I'm gonna pass, too.  Plenty of other events going on during August, to include another Cars and Coffee, Moss MINI trip, and possibly Way coming into town.  Only so much time and $$$ to go around.

It was a fun time despite the rain  003

We had MINIs owners from VA, DC, MD, PA, NJ and NY show up. Not sure of the headcount so I will let Chris chime in on that.  026  026

The cruise up was nice and fairly quick but the drive home was awful.

Definately would like to do it again when the weather is nice and the crowds are smaller.  icon_biggrin

We had a blast !!! (of rain, wind and fun)  003

Final count 31 MINIs and 56 participants. C3M lead the group from Baltimore to Fernimore Cooper rest area, PhillyMINI took over the lead from there to Grover Clever rest area, and NEMINI/MONJ lead the last leg to the park.

The rain was on and off, with some very strong wind, but that made a good memory btw.  icon_smile

It was great to meet old/new friends from VA, DC, MD, DE, PA, NJ & NY. Looking forward to do this again, next year.  045

Some good pictures.  Glad you all had a good time, minus the weather.   023

A full weekend trip sounds more promising.  Keep us posted if that is what you decide to arrange.   icon_cool

Sorry we canceled out. But I was so looking to go up in the Crown.  Maybe next year we can get those tickets early enough to get Crown tickets.
