BTW, I sure hope they reserved the room for y'all since Kathy ain't here. Just speak to the manager, she's really nice and goes outta her way to be helpful.

Hey Mr. Microphone...now there's a MINI event waiting to happen if I ever heard one. Sounds like you're our connection for preferential treatment at the gate and the concession stand on a Wacky Wednesday. Although I guess most of us can spring for a $5 gate ticket on our own.
Here's another idea...how about a tire kicking and BS session with MD-IN-UK (aka: John Santiago) at Stan's Collision & Refinishing Center on Jefferson Avenue. Thay have a good size parking lot at the shop where we could hang out for a while before walking across the street to Quaker Steak & Lube. Any takers?

Several others had only a handful in the last 6 months. Maybe we could consolidate some of those, rename others, delete some or add a few. Maybe the site needs some new blood to kick it up a notch. Just food for thought. But I do agree, we should get some new pics of more recent times on the top banner. Maybe a new look over all might help. Though, Tar Heel redesigned their site a few months ago and I still can't find some things!  As an administrator you can change any of the titles, move an delete content etc. Be my guest |

Had a good turn out at the pub. And we can add a clean '90 to the ranks..and I mean clean! Wait till you see that wide body at the next meet. Thanks to all who showed up! Can't wait to meet again!

Scott, really very glad ya had a good turn out at the Pub. I'd have much rather been there. Opening night didn't go super smooth. We did have some good racing and a Prelude decided to rearrange the third turn wall. Tried, but he didn't. He did rearrange the Prelude! He was okay, well, except for his pride.
Hanging out at Stan's would be cool. Going to Quaker Stake even cooler. I've tried getting in that place since it's opened.
Terry, there are so many things on here I don't know what or how to change anything. I tried searching around a while back, but was afraid I'd crash everything! I know me!

QS&L is in Hampton Roads now? SERIOUSLY????????? AWESOME IDEA! Teddy, and Maaccodale, I have run a forum before if you would like some help on the administrationb part please let me knowe i am up on italy time so i could make changes to the site while you are sleeping that way there is no down time and if you so desire i can come up with some designs for the main pages as well.... food for thought... |

Okay then, with more than 24 hours gone by with no defense from John, on the idea of planning an assault on his shop, I'd say we've won the battle. John, by time you read this it will be too late for you to say no. Anyone else game for this as something a bit different? Perhaps we can also add a little group drive time into the mix as well. If ya just wanna hang out at a body shop parking lot then eat, Stan's might be a better choice. Actually across the street from our shop a new place just opened up. Annie's Soul Food Kitchen. (I couldn't make this up!) Of course, we probably have better crack dealers in my 'hood than John does!

Quaker Steak & Lube has some pretty impressive decor too. Definitely geared to the gear head in all of us. However, I believe Wedensdays are biker night. There is absolutely no room for anything else then. What say the rest of Ye???? |
