I am contemplating changing the color of my roof, mirror caps and rear on my 09 Clubman. It is currently Dark Silver with a Black roof and tail. I am thinking of going lighter (White Silver, Thunder Blue) or maybe someting dramatic without being over the top (no pun intended).  Any suggestions? Don't be shy.

Two colors come to mind.  If you go lighter, try Pure Silver.  Maybe even Sparkling Silver.  If you go darker, try Astro Black Metallic.

I'm sure you've seen, but go over to our Photo Gallery to see some pics of mine with all the trim work done.

Keep the black...but add lots of heavy silver metallic flake to it!

People will literally see a sparkly blur as you pass 'em on the roads!

That sounds like a good idea.  Maybe add Dark Silver Metallic or Pure Silver to the black.

How about this, maybe get it wrapped. That way, it's removable. I'd think maybe silver like Adam said. But with the wrap, they can print basically anything on it and apply. The limits are just your imagination!

The interior is standard MINI Leatherette. I am intrigued by the idea of wrapping these areas.  Will it look like the side of an HRT bus? How is the cost compared to painting?

Paint the fugly back body color (as it should've been from the factory) and you may find that you may not need or want to change the color of the roof.

I agree that the back should be body color.

With that said, dark silver lends itself to almost any color...

Dark Silver/ Grey.... understated
DS/Flat Grey and Blood red pinstripes... a little more hot roddish
DS/ Lime Green.... cool contrast... please look at me NOW!
DS/ Burgundy.... cool contrast... look at me a little
DS/.... goes with most everything

Thank you for all the great suggestions. Here is what I have decided.

The rear will be painted Dark Silver to match the rest of the body. Does anyone know what it would cost to get the rear parts professionally painted?

Mirror caps also grayscale Union Jack from Prestige MINI of Mahwah in NJ.

As for the top, I will need more time to decide. Either paint it Velvet Red or apply a full roof grayscale Union Jack vinyl graphic from Aesthetic Creations.

That being said, how 'bout a pair of cheeks for the back??  112  044

I can't put cheeks back there because it doesn't have the center exhaust like yours does.

Sneezy, we need to talk. Those are some very serious color choices you have there. I almost thought I was looking at one of those jewelry shopping channels.  101

Mike, I'm currently doing the three pieces for the back of Lil Stinker's 2010 Clubby. Call me. 757-877-1100

I also think makeing these three pieces the same color as the car, and leaving the D-pillars black for the clean glass lines is the best way to go.

Howard, "fugly" ???? are you really using such language???  044
