We had a wonderful time. I think this was the best weather we ever had. We got a lil bit of misty rain on Saturday evening, other wise it was about 80 every day. I also think the lack of rain may have broke the record for the panorama photo. We had cars trying to pull into line by driving on a 45 degree grass covered hill, horizontally.
You are right, we were having way to much fun to go up to the lodge to log in and do write-ups.

You know phones and laptops don't work too well through those mountains.
Speeding tickets were distributed liberally on the Dragon due to the extra attention of the rock slide. Somehow, I snuck through without one, even though my speed matched some of those reported.

Unfortunately, there were also lots of tickets on the "leisurely" Dragon parade as well.

There was one car already wrecked prior to our arrival. Seems like all sides were dented on the Hell Bender. Driver was fine and after 2 days under the tent, it came out ready to make the drive home to great cheers from the crowd and war wounds to show off to admirers.

The Dragon portion of the road was open from 8am to 8pm so they organized the dark drives elsewhere, but I heard no complaints. Everyone who wanted to drive the Dragon got to, multiple times.
Everyone has some different stories to tell so I'll leave room from those. As for Dave, Maggie and I, we enjoyed our cabin, the nightly campfire with friends and marshmallows and the serenade by the group at Stonehenge. Queen Bo Rap at the top of your lungs, rang out down the hills.... twice.
