Okay, I know I'm not going totally crazy. The CHAT ROOM is missing off the bar menu above. In all my years here I had hoped to eventually stop in there when someone else was in. Guess I don't have to worry about that anymore. Maybe it's just temporary. Although we didn't use it at all hardly, and I tried getting a group in there on several occasions, we were the only club around with such a function.

Got an idea for our desire to chat.

Open a tab for HRMINI and open the chat room.  Then open another tab for HRMINI or whatever other websites you like to play around.  If you have the chat room open your user name will be displayed on the right side bar.  Check back often to find other users.  There are no messages (like on Facebook) asking for a chat, you just have to be in the room to do so.

When the website is updated maybe they can add an IM feature or if you keep the chat open in another box as suggested a bell or ding could be added to catch you attention when someone else logs in?

One thing I tried to do a while back was to schedule a Chat meeting on a given time. I still think that would work. Something like every Thursday at 8PM. We could make it a regularly scheduled thing and people could plan according.
