Not that one you freaks, this one. John did an outstanding job on the rear bits. Thank you for helping me make my Clubman   Un-Fugly.

WOW, what an outstanding color match, and just look at that shine. Who did that for you? How can I get him to do such spectacular paint work for me? I need his name and number. Dear God in Heaven above, the guy must be a Super Hero or something!!! 045  038  icon_mrgreen  023  044

Now if LIL STINKER would post something similar here also, that would be nice too.

That looks absolutely mediocre 044

Seriously, it does look good!  I have no idea why MINI doesn't offer them body color in the first place. When I did mine it improved the look 100%. Even with me painting them!

I met a nice young lady at Deals Gap that had a new Cooper S. She'd only had it a week. It had the aero kit on it and it was all Gray. I mean ALL Grey. Complete car was solid Grey, even the wheel arches. She said it came like that when the aero kit was included as an option. Is that correct ??

Thinking back to your other thread on this subject, it's good to see that you took the suggestion as seriously as it was meant. You've done your share to make the rear of that car easier to look at. Now....what did you decide, if anything, about your roof ? I for one think it should remain black.

Yes, that would be correct.

Everyone has the option of body color roof/mirror caps.

If you choose the aero kit option, the lower pieces which are usually black are painted the body color...automatically.

I am going to keep the roof black for now, at least until I get a job. I also managed to put my Blackjack mirror caps on. They look great. I will post a pic of them tomorrow. Thanks for all of your comments.  058

I love the gray and the painted rear really tops it off. I'd like to see the mirror caps. As for the roof, I think black is a great contrast with the gray. I wouldn't change a thing!
