This Mini (Bertie) owned by John Santiago (aka: MD-IN-UK) has been selected as the May "pin-up" in the 2010 wall calendar published by BASF, suppliers of autobody and paint materials. The photo below shows Johns handiwork in the transformation of this car. I know many of you have probably seen this beautiful car and it's paint job up close and personal. Kudo's John on a great looking Mini and for getting some much deserved national recognition. I'm pleased to know that currently John is personally handling the body and paint work on my classic Mini. Check out some of Johns work sometime by visiting him at Stan's Collision & Refinishing Center located in Newport News, VA. Maybe if we get together for our visit to his place before a walk across to Quaker Steak & Lube, he'll arrange to have the Mini at the shop.
