So Checkered Flag is hosting a Small Saturday Morning event for all you car crazy fans out there. BMW, MINI, SMART, AUDI, Jag, and Porsche vehicles will be invited. So mainly your high line vehicles. It will be Saturday Morning from 8:00am to 11:00am... We have been working with a few locals to try and get some exotic cars out as well, so we might even see a Ferrari or Lambo for you exotics fans. It will be at the Corner of Virginia beach blvd and Witchduck road in the old Bloom Furniture parking lot. All are welcome and encouraged to come. It is a non-selling environment. Just a way to have everyone get together and enjoy some different manufacturers and Coffee! So I will list the details again below. I personally will be there putting on a small song a dance ;) (just kidding, no one wants to see my dancing!) Please come and join us!

Good deal!  I am thinking what a wonderful opportunity this is for HRMINI. We can show Checkered Flag the huge network of HRMINI members by just showing up for coffee. I bet we can outnumber all the other types of cars if we can all agree to make it. I know a few have had issues with Checkered Flag and even their past un-support of the HRMINI car club. But I am thinking if we show up in numbers that surprise them, perhaps they will see what they are missing out on.  Pass the word on Facebook and to all your friends. Besides it is yet another day to get together with your MINI friends. PS bring ALL your cars!! |

I'm off that Saturday! I'll try to make it. BTW, The DC region MINI dealers host a meet & greet with coffee and donuts once a month for the DC Metro group. They have a good turn out and any customers there see all the fun MINI owners have. It's a great marketing tool for new customers as well as supporting the clubs. |

Can't wait to meet some more MINI friends. I too will be limited to how many pub events I can get to with 3 kids sport scheduals. Any special instuctions on where to meet? or just look for everyone parked together?

Thanks for the support so far for the event.... The old Bloom furniture parking lot is very large and has many rows for different cars.. I will try and coordinate to create enough spaces for all the HRMINI people that would love to come... So if we can tally a rough number, I will make sure to have enough spaces if possible... I will be there with a Florian Laurel Car if anyone coming needs direction on where to park... There is also to be Coffee and hopefully bagels and danishes from Panera Bread is my understanding. So it will be a very nice turn out. BMW car clubs, and Porsche car clubs, as well as audi car clubs, and of course MINI car clubs have been contacted. If there is anyone that you know that would like to come join, please feel free to pass along the information. The more the merrier!
