I had to post a comment at the NAM forum. I have already stated a long time ago just how much I would like to have something like this. I go so far as to have it as my main driver.

I had a different pic of that as my screen saver a few years ago. Sweet!

I have attended the last two MINI Meetings with Vinnie the MINIUSA Product Manager... I have twice suggested at least pushing a concept of a MINI pickup to see the response... They ARE considering the idea... Here is the idea that we spoke of.... A Countryman Chassis, which would allow for the largest availability for bed space is the idea. So Remove the Clubman thought, because most people would be right in saying the bed space would be useless.... The Countryman chassis would allow for roughly a 4ft. bed, maybe a hair larger... So... It is a possibility and they are considering it... keep your eyes peeled for a possible concept car!

I'll keep my full size Ford truck. However, I would love to have a Classic Mini truck as a project/play toy.
