Some of us got into a conversation about car wax products and clay barring and such.
The totally awsome, no ruboff wax I was talking about is available here.
http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=Z-CSYes, it is expensive, but it gives you 24-48 coats of wax so that reduces the price to a dollar a wax job.
You can read the information on the product. I have found it to be a great fast wax that protects for 6-9 months. I tend to wax more like once a month or even more frequently simply because this is so effortless. Simply spray 1 pump onto car. Use a damp cloth to spread it at far as possible (slight iridescent residue shows coverage), then walk away. Works on the plastic trim, windows, over decals. It is extremely clear. If you end up with a foggy appearance you used too much and just rewipe with a damp cloth. No white wax in the cracks and pits and no waxy residue where you bumped into the black plastic.
Personally I frequently clay bar after washing (takes 10 minutes) and top off with this wax (for another 5-10 minutes), then take a nap.
If there is interest in a claybar teaching school, someone suggest a place with some water and I can give lessons.
