I vote that Dale have a polishing event at the shop - where we can polish our beauties in the shade of his bays and multiple hands make the job light.

I'm in for the tech sessions.  If I don't get these pulleys on soon I think Mandy might leave me!

There are so many ways this could go!  Remember the knob thread?   044

I'm definitely able to contribute to the R53 tuning section.  In addition to my own experience, I'm learning more and more as I read what others are doing on NAM.  I have just purchased my own OBDScan tool, along with the ScanXL Pro software, so I can datalog my computer and send it off to Jan at RMW to finish up tweaking my tune.  I am also able to troubleshoot the computer error codes (though my Peake tool could do that too).  ScanXL Pro can also read engine information and display it in real-time.

I do have the ECU programmer, but it's a slave version.  It's only able to program my personal MINI.  The way it is designed, it can be freed up to be used on another car, but I have to load back in my original tune file.

I'm considering buying the master version of the tool.  If I do, I can start working with Jan to tune R53 MINIs.  I'm also going to find out if this tool is compatible with other models.  I do know the personal one I have offered every major make and model vehicle on the market up to 2009 in the software menu.

What this means is you could buy purchase your tune from Jan.  He can send the file to me, and I can upload it to your ECU.

I would be willing to drive over from the Richmond Area for any events that you guys come up with.

Careful! We'll surely take you up on that! Especially when we have another event in Richmond, And we had better see you at the Cooper Vineyard on July 17.
