Members,

I have the opporitunity to have vinyl banners made at no cost to us. We have discussed having something like this to possibily display at car shows & such, maybe even hang one in the pub. The question I have is, What do we want on it ?
I already have a jpeg of our HRMINI club log. Suggestions ??  I am limited to two width's of material because of the size of the machine. The widest material is approx. 23". the other is about 15". Length isn't a problem.  Give it some thought and let me know.

I would suggest the logo without the Hampton Roads Club Mini around it and then have Hampton Roads Club Mini in two lines.  Then if we could get some supporting vendors and local shops we could list them on the far side of the banner.  There's my .02.

Perhaps we can start with two banners.  One for the Pub.  I am getting Kurt's business card logos and such on disk from him this weekend.  Perhaps the Pub will even allow it to stay.  I'll have to talk to the manager about that.

One for recognition at events or parking areas.

We just had a nice 3 X 6 banner made up for the shop to hang at Langley Speedway. If you can get it for free, that would be a major deal! The one I had made was about 200 bucks. If you get one made, I'll gladly build a PVC frame for it.

Free it will be !  Have the material, machine to produce it with and the grommets all lined up. Planning to make one out of the
23" wide material for car shows & such. Will need a frame for this one. length ? Other material is 15 " wide. Maybe a good size for the Pub ?   I'll work on a design and try to post it for opinions asap.

Revisiting an old topic, but one that's not been forgotten (Steve)  039 REALLY want to get something done before the Dragon, but I still have the same problem. What to put on a banner ?  I need suggestions and MOST important, I must have any image that we want to have on a on a vinyl banner in a JPEG format. I do have the the HRMINI club logo  that you see at the top left of our home page already.
So, if anyone has ANY image in a JPEG format that would be appropriate for a club banner,  send it to me please, and I will try to get something made up ASAP.  Thank you !

You must be psychic! I was talking about a banner again just the other day. I say we just do it! I'd like to see an updated logo and maybe we can come up with something new. But for the time being, lets get one done. I'd say use that logo on the left with Hampton Roads club MINI and the www.hrmini.com on it. Simple and to the point. Not too busy so you can't read it at a glance. Simple is better.

I just wanna get it made so we can have it for events. Thanks for taking this on Dave!

Going to get something made up as soon as early next week. Looking at probably Monday. Thinking about something
using the 23" wide material if it is still available, and maybe about 5-6' long. If there is enough of the free material available, I'll try to get two made. I'll hold off until next Monday and see if anyone has any JPEG images that might get sent along to this request. I was told that metal grommets could be added at no cost to use to tie this banner up for display as well. I am sure we could build a cheap frame from PVC tubing that we could use to display such a banner at events like Cars & Coffee, that we can easily break down and transport, and then quickly assemble and set up.  I'm on it  023

You get the banner, I can make a PVC frame. I've done a couple for the SCCA over the years. It's pretty easy and they're very transportable.
