OK, I know this is short notice, and I know that it can conflict with Saturday's Marmaduke movie event, but
Kari Smith is playing at the
Relay for Life Event in New Kent. If you go to her
schedule page (scroll down a ways), Kari has a show earlier in the day at RIR at 12 noon. Time for her arrival at the relay event is TBA, but it's probably in mid afternoon.
If you want to opt for a different time, I may go see Kari play at Brunetti's Italian Restaurant in Mechanicsville on Friday 7-10 p.m. Kari has a beautiful voice and plays country/bluegrass music on her own albums. Additionally, she does a great job doing cover songs. Among the large song list, Kari's voice is almost a spot-on match for Patsy Cline.
