Very enjoyable, even if it was hotter then Hell.

There were quite a few dragon flies out today. They seemed to like our MINIs, too.

I saw one or two fly off Harry's MINI as we left the rest stop. Plus there were more to be seen when we stopped at the Cotton Gin.
The food variety was good, but there were no soft-shell crabs to be found. Mom was disappointed.

As for me, seafood is still an acquired taste. I tried the lobster tail; that was really good!

I also tried the crab legs; that's going to take me awhile to get used to.

After we split up, mom and I headed to Bodie Island. As previously mentioned to us, it's definitely under construction. Kinda weird seeing scaffolding around it. But I wanted to get in a couple of good pics in front of a lighthouse, so we headed down to Cape Hatteras. That's only the second time I've ever been down that far. It was worth it.

Stop by the Photo Gallery to see some photos I snapped.
