The Classic Cruisers Car Club just held a 4th of July meet, show at Cheeseburger in Paradise/Carrabas and I think it's safe to say that a turn out of about 200 cars would be a reasonable figure. They were there from 10am till 3pm and then some...

Knowing what time you want to start and finish, judge if that's also what you'd like to include needs a fair amount of time, pre-register/register dates and fee's if ya wanna go that route. Dale, you know what I'm talking about. Trophies, certificates, t-shirts and the like all cost money, sponsors for the event would be nice also.

Maybe just save all that for next year, and have a friendly show among Mini/MINI Enthusiasts this year, see how that goes, and consider just how big an event you might want to turn it into in the future.

My thoughts are to just encourage everyone, ( or as many as possible) to clean up there cars, and show em for a few hours where lots of members can get a feel for this type of event. I'm thinking it 's safe to say many of our members have never done a show. This could be a good starting point.

I'll go on more when I see some more feedback. I encourage as many members as possible to plan on doing this. It's a great opprotunity to learn things you never knew about prepping your car for shows, and get a good feel for what others do to get that extra something that always lands them on the podium.
