Is anything going on this weekend? Mark and I will be in Williamsburg, I was hoping there was something going on where we could catch up with some of you.

Maybe we'll have to plan something !!!   There is a small pulley party planned at Lil' Stinkers house in Smithfield on Saturday..
You got your pulley installed at the Dragon this year didn't you ?

Kathy (2FUN4ME) and I are going on a harbor cruise boat from the Hampton waterfront on Sunday evening. The boat is cruising across the Hampton Roads harbor toward Norfolk to view the fireworks. Boat leaves from downtown Hampton at 7:30 pm. We have an English couple visiting that are going along. They are race marshals at Silverstone, and have also worked World Super Bikes in South Africa. A FUN couple, and imagine their feelings. British couple on a cruise to view the fireworks for a celebration of our independence day from British rule  119  Cruise is on the Miss Hampton II. 757-722-9102, or toll free, 1-888-757-BOAT. $40.00 per person  107

I will be helping out with the pulley party.  Saturday evening is pretty much open.  I will more than likely go to the local classic car meet.  It starts around 5 p.m. and is located at the Hardee's on Jefferson Avenue at Dresden Drive.

There is always the possibility of a spot trip to a local hangout.  We have Doumar's in Norfolk (home of the original waffle cone, as well as a good orange freeze or fresh limeade), Cold Stone Creamery in Hampton, Smitty's in Hampton (old-fashioned window-service burger joint), and more.  Any other suggestions by fellow HR MINI members are welcome.

Not sure if anyone is having a cookout on the 4th.   002   Even though other locations have larger fireworks displays, I'm usually traditional and go to Yorktown.  Last year, I had the pleasure of going out on a sailboat in the middle of the James River.  I got to see fireworks at nine different surrounding locations.  That was really cool.  I might get to do so again.

Adam, you and anyone that are interested are welcome to come over to our house on the 4th.  I will be grilling out for our English friends, race marshel's at the Silverstone race track in the UK.  I will have plenty of cold beer on hand and anyone that wants to come by are welcome. We will be leaving here about 6pm. however, to go to downtown Hampton, as we have reservations on the Miss Hampton II to cruise over the Norfolk area to view the fireworks from the Norfolk area. Friends are
expected to arrive here anytime between Noon and 2pm.  Feel free to come on by anytime after Noon if you'd like, and the same goes for all of our Mini Club friends. Just remember that we will be leaving here sometime just after 6pm. in order to catch the boat leaving from the Hampton waterfront for the fireworks cruise that evening.
34 Locust Ave. Hampton, Va.   Happy 4th. to everyone !!

What's a pulley party?
I know Mark and I are up for something with you guys.
We don't leave VA on Sat until around 2:00 - 3:00 getting a late start this year.

If Sunday works, how about a cruise down the Colonial Parkway to Ben & Jerry's in Yorktown?

Ooooh that sounds fun, yes Sunday would work. We can't make an all day thing of it (have to spend some time with Mark's parents) but a few hours of fun would be great.  Sunday also gives me time to wash Tigger who is way too filthy to be seen by his other Miniac friends.

Pulley party... several 1st-GEN MINI enthusiasts get together and help one another install smaller pulleys on their superchargers.   112

I'd even drive up from the beach if somebody comes up with a day/time!
